According to the daily Postoj, the head of Hlas, Matúš Šutaj Eštok, revealed on Slovak Radio what the next steps of the former health minister are. Dolinková has not yet commented on the topic.

Plans for the future

In the programme Openly with Anna Varga, Šutaj Eštok confirmed that Dolinková will not return to the parliament.

"Politics is difficult. She has always been a pro who had healthcare at heart and wanted to tackle it. This was her first time in politics and I can only confirm that the former minister has asked the Speaker of the National Council in charge that she will not claim her parliamentary mandate," he said.

He stressed that Dolinka remains Deputy Chairperson of the Voice where she will be professionally involved in the health sector.

Boxing gloves as a gift

Shutaya Eshtoka would welcome the ex-minister to hand over the agenda and help the new health minister, to whom she has already gifted boxing gloves.

Dolinka wrote on Instagram after her resignation that "at this moment I feel that I need to get some distance from the political merry-go-round and the pressure I faced during my time as minister, and decide on my next course of action." she wrote on Instagram on Thursday after submitting her resignation. However, it is clear that she wants to take a break from politics.

Future at the UN

According to the latest information from the daily Postoj, Dolinková could get a place in the structures of the United Nations (UN).

"Behind the political scenes" there are rumours that the post she could occupy is linked to the World Health Organisation, which falls under the UN.
